The Rhinoceros 3D commands from this guide can be applied to your workflow and any project.

A command prompts the Rhinoceros 3D software to perform different functions to facilitate and speed 3D modeling. All commands can be entered into Rhino’s command line.

Rhinoceros 3D Commands in this Video:

3DFACE – Draws a single mesh face.

Activate the 3DFace command in the Mesh menu by selecting Polygon Mesh Primitives and clicking on 3-D Face.

 3VIEW – Sets up your workspace with 3 views.

Activate the command in the View menu, choose Viewport title, and click on 3 Viewports.

 4VIEW – Sets up your workspace with 4 views. 

Activate the 4View command in the View menu by selecting Viewport title, and clicking on 4 Viewports.

ADDTOGROUP – Adds an object to an already existing group.

Activate the command in the Edit menu, choose Groups, and click on Add to Group.

ALIGNMESHVERTICES – Forces the vertices of a mesh to the same location.

Activate the AlignMeshVertices command in the Mesh menu by selecting Mesh Repair Tools, and clicking on Align Mesh Vertices.

ALIGNPROFILES – Aligns and adjusts the length of one curve to another based on their bounding boxes.

This command is not found on any toolbars or menus.

ANGLE – Gives you the angle between 2 sets of locations on the command line.

Activate the command in the Analyze and click on Angle.

APPLYCRV – Wraps a curve onto a surface.

Activate the ApplyCrv command in the Curve menu by selecting Curve from Objects, and clicking on Apply UV Curve.

APPLYCURVEPIPING  – Creates a mesh pipe around a curve.

Activate the command in the Render menu, choose Effects, and click on Curve Piping.

ARCBLEND – Creates a blend curve that is made up of 2 arcs between 2 curves that are adjustable.

Activate the ArcBlend command in the Curve menu by selecting Blend Curves, and clicking on Arc Blend.
